COMMUNITY AMBASSADORS - WYRE FOREST

#Help Erase Hate

As part of the National Hate Crime Awareness Week 10-17 October 2020, our Community Ambassadors have been informing their followers, via their social media accounts on the different ways to report a hate crime or hate incident.  They have also been promoting bloggers Patrick Hutchinson and Ahmed Zaman who exclusively made a short video talking about hate crime which you can view via our Instagram.

Hate crime can range from name calling and vandalism to physical attacks or stealing a person’s property.  Hate crimes are motivated by prejudice, hostility or hatred towards that person’s race, religion or beliefs, age, gender, sexual orientation or disability.
