All our Community Ambassadors across Wyre Forest raised awareness of domestic abuse and violence and where to go for help and support.  They encouraged students to sign the White Ribbon Pledge during the 16 Days of Action, to speak out and wear the white ribbon against violence and abuse and challenge the attitudes of a minority of men who use or condone violence against women.

At Baxter College the Community Ambassadors have been going around handing out white ribbons to all students and staff that want to stand up and say NO to domestic abuse of all kinds. Ambassadors have even spent most of their lunches creating a large white ribbon made from handprints which is one of our ways to promote the campaign and is on display in Student Support.

At Stourport High School they have collected pledges for their white tree and currently creating a large ribbon from smaller ribbons to be displayed in their Student Reception.  King Charles have made a flower of pledges, Wolverley created a house from post-it with pledges and Bewdley are recreated their school logo of a swan made from paper feathers.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this important campaign.
